The president signed the American Rescue Plan on March 11, 2021. Provisions in the bill will authorize another round of $1,400 stimulus checks for each eligible person ($2,800 for couples), plus an additional $1,400 for each dependent. However, as with the first- and second-round payments, the third-round stimulus checks will be reduced – or nonexistent – for people with an income above a certain amount.Single filers payments are reduced if your adjusted gross income (AGI) is above $75,000. Married couples filing jointly are reduced if your AGI is above $150,000. Head of household filers payments will be reduced if AGI is above $112,500.
